"I have recently graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University with a BA (Hons) in Architecture. Additional to my architectural studies, I lead a team of supervisors and general staff at a busy bar in Leeds city centre. I have an exceptionally strong work ethic and a great passion for beautiful buildings and sound architectural design. I am seeking to gain practical experience to further enhance my theoretical knowledge, skills and design work. I aspire to be challenged in a way that will allow me to not only fulfil my potential, but also surpass it.
I was awarded with my current role as lead bar supervisor as a result of hard work and dedication. It is rare for such a role to be offered to a student whose job is merely to financially support their studies. I however, take great pride in everything I do, from sketching a proposal to designing a beautiful cocktail. Attention to detail, dedication, and a proactive approach is the vital transferable skill set that has not only lead to my success in this line of work, but will make me a key asset to any potential employer. Although I very much enjoy my current job, I am now excited to channel my energy and skills into the subject matter I am most passionate about architecture."
